SMASH track

AI & Life Sciences

Scheduled: 25. 09. to 26. 09. 2025

Join us in shaping the future of innovation in life sciences at the AI for Life Sciences track – part of the international conference AI for Science 2025, taking place from September 25 to 26 – supported by SMASH. This track is dedicated to exploring the transformative role of artificial intelligence in life sciences research and healthcare applications.

This event brings together researchers working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the life sciences to explore cutting-edge methods, emerging data modalities, and both current and future challenges. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, we aim to accelerate progress and bridge the gap between AI research and its practical, translational impact in health and medicine.

We welcome submissions of extended abstracts (2–4 pages) using the LNCS template available here, covering one or more of the following non-exhaustive list of topics of interest:

  • AI for single-cell and spatial omics
  • AI-driven quantitative image analysis and digital pathology
  • Predictive modeling in drug discovery and development
  • Learning for molecule design and simulation
  • Models for patient stratification and personalized medicine
  • Multi-modal AI for data integration
  • LLMs and foundation models for biomedical data
  • Explainable AI
  • Translational applications of AI models in the clinical and industrial practice

  • The AI for Life Sciences track is non-archival. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to present their work in a poster session. Additionally, a select number of abstracts will be chosen for oral presentations.
